Grape: A wall sculpture, work in progress

http://simplysuperbswans.blogspot.ca/2012/11/winter-cygnets.html  Please visit this Blog Post to see the DUCKLINGS that have been named Sari & Joseph, after us!!!

Glory to God in the highest! They are more beautiful than even we are! I am proud! Kiss them both on the mouth for me...Repeatedly...if you cannot plant some on their mouth, then I will accept many wet kisses on their heads...Tell them they are loved & are handsome & beautiful...(i do think you have two girls though-but I will not tell Joseph that)...Sari Grove, The Waterbird Society, Ontario members, Canada

(referring to the next blog post after the one linked to above, about the danger in pulling out underbrush from the shores of a lake or river- on the blog called Simply Superb Swans, see link above in purple:)

I second & agree with the above letter...Also I'd like to add that putting out rat poison has serious environmental consequences, not only to the rats, who are a natural part of an ecosystem & serve as food for larger birds as well as other animals, but to the dogs, the cats, the waterbirds & other wildlife currently residing in Nairn as well as the people...A safer & more legal method of dealing with the rats, if they truly are a bother as opposed to some antiquated & obsolete paranoid about disease which is purely mythical & rubbish in 2012, is safe capture, relocation, & release & or adoption by local children...It has been found in Canada that rats make particularly good pets for children or adults with Down's Syndrome...They require less care & bond well...Catching these rats & rehoming them with a Down's Syndrome child or adult would have been a better, more legal & eco-friendly option...Besides it would have given joy & hope to a boy or girl or man or woman with Down's...I hope next time this will be considered prior to a killing...

pliers, scissors, 1/2" copper strapping, locking nuts, hexagonal nuts, 10-24 steel rods threaded galvanized

before I add the nylon thread woven in...Just hanging on the wall off a Cornice screw...(it's a 2 inch L shaped screw you can hang things on...))

some of my materials...I also used 12-24 washers before threading each bolt- this is a way to keep your bolts from unscrewing themselves...

Here are some drugs that are commonly taken & some things I'd like to say or warn people about them:

1)
Osteoporosis drugs, like Actonel or Boniva, have been known to actually cause hip fractures, femur fractures, cause the need for hip & knee replacements, cause severe musculoskeletal pain, cause panic attacks, cause hypermagnesemia (too much magnesium), degrade cartilage, cause necrosis of the jaw & severe jaw pain...(There are Class Action lawsuits you can join now- in Canada,Merchant Law is handling this...)
2)
Cholesterol lowering drugs like Lipitor & Crestor: Cause memory loss, sometimes so severe it becomes dementia or Alzheimer's...
2a)Heart attack prevention drugs: Aspirin, that one a day baby aspirin thing, is in the same category as the cholesterol lowering drugs, as is marijuana, painkillers like Percocet & Oxycontin, sleeping pills, & Tylonol 3...Same memory loss side effects...
4)Things they say are for the heart or anti-blood clot drugs, but are really Iodine-like anti-cancer drugs...
Warfarin also known as Coumadin, is an iodine type drug actually...Iodine, like vinpocetine, is similar to chemotherapy drugs...Warfarin actually dissolves calcium blocks or lumps, which is in fact what cancer is technically...A giant calcium lump...Birth control pills are calcium lumps too- so is progesterone or prednisone or Depo Provera...So Warfarin works by dissolving calcium lumps, & the organ it operates on is the adrenal gland...In too high doses Warfarin can kill you...In fact you can buy Warfarin at your local Canadian Tire hardware store, in a box of powder, & it is used to kill rodents, a rodenticide...(Honestly I think Warfarin poisons should be banned from sale to the public because they are so dangerous)...Anyways, the rodents die by bleeding out...You know when someone gets too much chemotherapy & their brain turn to mush? That is the same as Warfarin poisoning...This should not be taken for any long term period of time...One can eat seaweed salads & get iodine in one's diet to prevent calcium clots in the blood or to prevent or remedy cancers...There are other safer ways to get iodine than Warfarin,(Coumadin...)

Hi Sari, your remedies, diseases side effects is interesting. However the main reason for contacting you is to thank you for your support over the issue of feeding the waterbirds etc, It is greatly appreciated ! By way of a Thank you I will call the two lighter ducklings that I rescued recently Sari and Joe, check out my latest post! Of course I don't know if they are male and female...but who cares ! I will take good care of them until it's nearly spring and release them into the river. Your friend Joe.

Dear Joe, That is a wonderful thing...However, my Joseph likes Joseph not Joe...If at all possible, could one of the lighter ducklings be Joseph? Regardless of gender, though my Joseph is out of town, he will be most pleased, but I'm pretty sure he will say "Joseph" instead of Joe, as he usually does when people Joe him...Also, if the duckling is Joseph instead of Joe, then people won't think that I am having a secret affair over in Scotland with someone named Joe, since everyone here in Canada knows he doesn't use Joe...(Here, a cup of Joe is a cup of coffee, or Joe Jobs, are jobs no one else wants to do...It has lost the dignity of the mary & Joseph here in Canada...He has found that by forcing the Joseph, especially to strangers, that he gets more respect...Not that you & the sweet ones, the ducklings are strangers, at this point you are all part of our family now...) Sari

p.s. I will now alert my friend "DuckLoverBonnie" who has written a book about her ducks...She will be either jealous or proud of me, maybe both if we are lucky...! Thank you, I am so honoured to be able to know your presence...Not to mention, the waterbird, canine, earthbird, mammal & human friends you have...I also think Scotland is a wonderful place, though I have only been there through your eyes so far...I have been to England nearby, to the gardens & the theatre & the hotel & the markets, but Scotland was not on the list as I was stopping over on my way to the Middle East, so I could not go that far...

Hi Sari, Take a look at Sari and Joseph-ine,on my latest post, I think they are both female as you guessed! They are 6 weeks old today and are thriving. I will set up an outdoor bath for them tomorrow, so far the weather is not too bad, and no heavy snowfalls yet. All being well, I'll keep them until February before letting them back to the river !
Thanks again for your support over the river environment issue,You are a true friend, and If I was 25 years younger - Joseph would have another contender !! Mwahhaaa.
