So Weebly locked me out of my websites today, with no explanation...

Forward:
(The truth is I used the f word in a couple of different ways in the beginning of a blog post on my http://sarigrove.weebly.com website...I was enormously irritated about spending an hour learning how to set up Piwigo.org's software on freehosting.com using the Softaculous installer, & then when I finally got it to set up, it was so bare bones that it was going to require a whole new large learning curve for me to even get it operational...So I used the f- word very creatively to describe how I felt about trying to do something only to find out that the mountain I had just climbed was just a hill attached to an even bigger mountain...I mean, I LIKE mountains...But when I set my goals it is hard to have to reset them higher, when I would have thought I was there already...So, long story short, if I was to guess as to why the weebly spam filter website takedown shutdown function got enabled, it was because I Dr. Seuss'ed with the f-word in poetic creative ways...Joseph, my darling gorgeous handsome husband, taught me the creative rhyming of the f word...So, despite my ranting below, it was really my own fault probably for swearing that I got my websites shut down...I sort of approve of stern actions when it comes to swearing-though, it was a little harsh waking up to no websites...My http://groveart.weebly.com also got blocked by proxy automatically with the shut down, as well as a little site I had made for my mum, as a trial run...)

 What happened:
So today, I went to our Weebly websites to add some new ideas to one of my blogs there...Lo & behold the weebly sites had disappeared completely...I discovered that Weebly's automated system had decided that I had done something wrong & that Weebly had banned my websites, all of them & blocked my ability to log in completely...This was done with no explanation or warning & apparently cannot be reversed...
What I find in violation of the law here is that weebly has blocked me from accessing & retrieving all of my intellectual property...If someone finds your art objectionable, they are not allowed to keep it...In fact, I do not know what was objectionable or not because the site was blocked without explanation...Support gave me no reason...No warning...No email saying could you remove this link or this post or whatever...
So they have all of my content & have blocked my ability to get it back...
  This is theft of property...
I have seen this kind of behaviour before...
A landlord closed down a gallery & attempted to keep all of my paintings...
They are not allowed to do that...Despite being illegal, you still have to somehow extricate your work, while dealing with an unsavoury character...
I did get my work back, but it was horrible having to deal with such a slimy creature...
When companies do unreasonable things it is often only the tip of the iceberg...
You later find out that there are some very rude people working customer support...
It is quite common for a flouting of the law to accompany disagreeable people...
This is what I am finding out about weebly...
Not only have they been illegal in their actions but they have been unpleasant in their response to my queries...
I suspect that they are merely unhappy with the fact that so many use their service for free...Why offer free services if you want people to pay???
Are people really going to pay when they can use the service for free?
Anyways...I moved my domain names to another host immediately...
I am very unhappy with how Weebly is behaving...But it is better to find this out earlier rather than later...
My new host is quite wonderful...Artistically I mean...I suspect that greater artistic genius goes with greater customer service too...

Turnaround Climax:
Update to this post today, Tuesday July 24th, 2012:

Ok, so today I got an email from a very pleasant Weebly support person...Lord! Lord Almighty! Lord!
Hallelujah!
Ok, so they said that they think the site takedown was an error...error...error...awesome...
I got my stuff back...I got my content back...They let me back in...
I can log in again...I am no longer a criminal...
Saved...(by the blood of a lamb...that's a Bob Dylan song lyric by the way from a little known album called "Saved"...)
  Ok, so I am Baaaack...

Denouement:
http://grovecanada.magix.net/website#/Homepage This is GroveCanada.magix.net ...

This Magix.net site provider has always been quite wonderful...Delightful...But in an age when people rush about, waiting for a complex butterfly animation to fly across a screen is possibly too long...
Well, take a look...I put together a sample site there to see how people responded...Back then I sensed impatience...But people are older now, so maybe it works better now...Or not...Not sure...I leave things alone when I am not sure...Don't throw them out, don't use them either...Just keep them around until they speak to me...I am not a hoarder, I am a waitor...

Conclusion:

In Conclusion, Longo's makes pretty good pizza...Hmm, that is a non sequitur...In conclusion, here is a nice picture of a cat...No, that doesn't work...In conclusion my mother bought us a car...Ok, better...

In Conclusion my mother bought us a brand new used car...It is called a Toyota Matrix XR with the Sport package which includes like EVERYTHING on the planet including a real plug hole not a lighter plug hole but a real plug hole so you could like blow dry your hair in your car, not like you have to though cause it comes with a moonroof which is like a sunroof but it also lets you see the moon cause it is see through & it has more than 40 inches of headroom for really tall people like me & Joseph & it has alloy wheels which don't rust as much as regular wheels & it is in a colour called Sundance metallic & did I mention we didn't have to pay for it & it is not a hybrid because Joseph doesn't really believe in hybrids instead we drive as little as possible which is now about 5 thousand kilometres a year together so that is pretty good and...

Big take a breath...

Ok, but it does have 70 thousand kilometres on it already but that is ok because we are going to take good care of it & park it indoors & did you know you can buy a longer clip on rearview mirror to increase the length of your reaview & you can also buy little round stick on convex mirrors which make objects appear bigger in your sideview mirrors where you stick on the little round mirrors to see better around your blind spots?

I learned the mirror add on trick from somebody nice at DesJardins Insurance who are nice & that word Desjardins means "The gardens" which makes me happy though it sounds a bit like a cemetary plot or a retirement home or something equally placating though restful but related to dying or something but what do you expect from insurance I mean it must be all about death as a bread & butter fear experience, No?
  Big another take a breath...
So we have to pay for the car tomorrow & them maybe Thursday we get to take her home...The colour is really spectacular it dances in the sun...Sundance metallic...Not orange...Sundance...Love it...
So that is the good news...

A letter to Desjardins Insurance today:(Wednesday now)(names have been abbreviated with dashes for no particular reason)...

If you press the button called COMMAND & also the button called + then the font of the next thing will get bigger on your screen...try it, it is a neat thing to know, really, even if you are not OLD like me...I am old...old...old...old...old...Ok I'll stop...old...

Hi Hello! Thank you for this wonderful client services function online....I really like getting to see my documents online because they are much easier for me to read this way all lit up & I can change the size of the font & everything...
  I had a very useful & enjoyable conversation(s) today with E---- R----- (your employee)...
I also bought a extra-long clip on rearview mirror & two adjustable stick-on sideview convex mirrors to increase my ability to see around the blind spots that the pillars in the Matrix may cause...
I am glad this new used vehicle does NOT have rearview windshield tinting as I feel that tinting is causing car pedestrian accidents all over the place in dark half the year Canada & nighttime or cloudy driving...
I do have very slight side window tinting but it is the older style from 2009 when they were very very subtle, so it is ok...
I am also going to put Nitrogen in my tires instead of air because that keeps the tires fluffy longer...(I know because I had it done on the Firefly at Canadian Tire Yonge/Davenport & they are still much fluffier than if I had just left them with only air...)
Thanks for being there for me when TD Insurance was exploiting me & I didn't have anywhere to go in a huff...You made a nice save...(It was R----- L--- your employee who sold me that first Firefly policy last year when I was in a huff)...

Sari G---- (I am in the process of finally changing my driver's licence name to my married name G----, since Marriage certificates are FINALLY available to order online...)

A Blog Comment on Joanne Mattera's Blog which is on the left hand side of this blog if you care to look left:

I am NOT difficult...Oh, oops...Maybe that is for the post about artists who think everything is all just about them...Is egotism a sub-section of difficult or is it its own new beast? In my defence, perfectionism which is  often a byproduct of difficult can be respected if you do it right...The term 'discriminating taste' or something like that using the word 'discriminating' is usually a positive compliment...(i know, 'redumbnant', positive compliment, but anyways)...I am not difficult, but I am very very good at what I do & I know it...( a difficult egotist some might say- my friends would just say I am a nutbar goddess, which is nicer...)p.s. the lady who I was talking about in my last blog comment here who did the flowers hanging on strings is called Amanda McCavour (please God I hope I spelled that right)...She sews things...In a MacGyver kind of a way...I won't link to her site here cause that might be rude...)

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

Hi,
I have already been locked out three times, have contacted support and have been responded too once. I have to say I think this appears to be a regular occurrence, we're probably not the only ones. It is so annoying. I am not sure the purpose of why they do it really. I haven't done anything wrong and only have my things on the website. It's just weird. I was thinking of upgrading but with this, I am now not so sure.
Anyways best of luck

Hi Jess! I found that if you pay them money, they treat you better, Weebly that is...I had let the account lapse into free, & that is when they got rude...So I paid some money, got my website back, then spent some time looking for another provider...I still have my Weebly presence because it still gets visitors from past links that I had established, but I started new sites with both Wix & Wordpress.com ...
Both Wix & Wordpress.com are free to start, & get good traffic...I was too scared of Weebly's lockdown style to put new material there...
You can see those new sites at http://www.grovecanada.ca & http://www.sarigrove.com

I clear my head by writing...Don't figure it out, just do it...Let it happen, flow...The more you intellectualize, the less likely you are to get anything down on paper, or screen so to speak...Don't edit yourself first...Write first, then edit later if you must...Editing can happen over many months...

Hey there! Quick question that's entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My web site looks weird when viewing from my apple iphone. I'm trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to resolve this issue.
If you have any recommendations, please share.
Thank you!

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I think
I would never understand. It seems too complex and
very broad for me. I'm looking forward for your next post, I'll try to get the hang of
it!

When I initially commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added"
checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Cheers!
